Wix alternatives

First, define what needs to change

Write down the specific reason you are considering leaving Wix: cost, workflow fit, access, maintenance or a missing requirement. A replacement should resolve that issue without creating a larger migration burden.

Different starting points

Webflow

A platform to visually build, manage and grow business websites. Explore it when design and structured website content are central to the project.

Have the person who will maintain the site edit a real content entry.

Framer

A visual website builder with a design canvas, hosting and a CMS. Explore it when visual design and publishing share one workflow.

Test the CMS structure and editing controls your site will need after launch.

A useful switching trial

• Export a representative sample from your current setup.
• Use the same sample and success condition in each candidate.
• Check the history, permissions and attachments that survive the move.
• Keep the original system until the sample has been reconciled.

These are alternatives to investigate, not a claim that either reproduces every feature in Wix.
