Run the same task in both

Prepare an enquiry that moves from chat to email, requires a human decision and becomes a knowledge article. Hold the inputs and acceptance criteria constant, and record the plan you used.

  • Open a synthetic enquiry and move it between two agents.
  • Ask an ambiguous question and inspect the escalation path.
  • Update a knowledge article and check how that change reaches responses.
  • Review conversation exports and the definition of any usage-based charge.

How to reach a decision

Give the most weight to channel coverage, human handoff. Record what you observed rather than treating a long feature list as a result. If neither tool passes your mandatory requirements, keep looking.

Calculate the effective cost per agent seat plus usage after configuration time and any required add-ons. A successful trial is a workflow your team can repeat and maintain.
